I was expecting something similar to Soapy Mountain Suds' cherry almond soap, a soft, round, sweet cherry forward smell. It was a bit of a surprise. This is good, but it is darker with an earthier background smell. OK, the name says Noir, French for black or dark; I should have known better. I like it, but need to use it in small doses. Yes it is a dark mysterious cherry smell that is nice.
